I am very excited that I will be speaking at the “Find your Inspiration Day” on Saturday 6 March – hosted by Old Mutual and InspiringWomen.co.za.    I will be speaking on the Power of Dreams and Goals and will also be there to answer questions, sign books and generally do some mischievious magic-making.

Last year I did the same in Cape Town – it was a fabulous, inspiring and uplifiting event with speakers, fashion shows and exhibitors – watch the video below to see

One of my key intentions for 2010 is…

“to live and act out of a place of faith rather than fear”

In January this was hard, but at the end of January some magic and miracles occurred in my life that have now shifted me into a place deep faith.  It is a feeling of trusting that life is on my side and having the courage to believe that EVERYTHING (and I mean everything) that happens serves my life for the best.

I am finding that as I act out of this place of faith my life becomes magical, playful and fun…. Wheeeeuw!  How refreshing!

So I urge you to use this last week in February to develop your faith – and I don’t mean only religion – I mean the simple belief, trust and knowing that everything is going to be okay.

Jenny Borges, who calls herself a Foreign Diva did the Dream Mapping and Goal Setting Workshop in Hamburg, Germany in 2007.

Her big dream?  To become a renowned stylist for celebrities.

She did the 12 Week Growing Wings program in 2009 and I am pleased to announce that she has just been featured in Red Magazine in the UK as an expert stylist.   Yiiiipppppeeeeeeeee!!!

Recently at a Possibility Evening a participant shared this story, which I LOVE!

She was in Kenya and was fascinated by the behaviour of the Masai warriors – those tall, thin, regal tribes people.

One of the things that she noticed is that after running or walking for a distance, they come to a place of rest and simply stand in still centeredness in their natural environment for a period of time – seemingly doing nothing.  After observing this behaviour many times she managed to converse with one of the Masai and asked him why they do this.  The answer…

“at times we need to stand still to allow our souls to catch-up with us.”

What a beautiful and magnificent lesson for us all in this frenetic, crazy, busy world that we find ourselves in.

In my book, “The Fairy Godmother’s Guide to Getting What you Want”, I write about the importance of aligning body, mind and soul to form a solid foundation to be able to create and manifest what you want.  The soul connection is a vital component to living a fulfilled life.

Like the Masai, at times you too need to stand in stillness, centeredness and doing nothing – because it is during those times that you will feel your soul catching up and returning to you.

So during this week carve out some “Masai” time for yourself and watch as the beauty and fullness of life returns.

I don’t know whether you have seen the Hansa advert – Vuyo Wors.  I just love it!!!

For me, it is just such a stunning illustration of being clear on your dreams and goals and visualisation.   Below is the full version if you’d like to see it.  Watch the detail, from the merchandising to TV talk shows, scenes in Japan, his aircraft Air Wors, his boat, flight to the moon a la Mark Shuttleworth … I’ve seen it a thousand times and always watch it when it comes on.  I find it totalling amusing.  Delightful!

Just like you taught us in the Dream Mapping and Goal Setting workshop!  I only started noticing this ad when I started my visualisations and creating Future Imagined Memories.  Wish I’d made them as colourful, big and out of the ordinary!!
