Sprinkling Fairy Dust on Parliament
Posted on February 8, 2008

What a fabulous day of magic-making of the highest order… this morning I went off to the Opening of Parliament, wearing full Fairy Godmother regalia of wings, wand and of course a BIG pot of Fairy Dust… ready to sprinkle over the Parliamentarians, Ministers and President.
Apart from a bit of fun and making-magic for the country in the year ahead, the bigger point was to ask what I believe is a pivotal question for South Africa.
“What is our big collective dream, vision and goal for South Africa in 2020?”
While so much of the time we are ‘obsessed’ with the current issues in our country, if we all had a big, extraordinary collective Vision of South Africa for 2020, something for the whole country to buy-into and get excited about then we would be on the path to the great South Africa that we all want it to be.
So in the next few months I am going to be putting my Fairy Godmother mind, as to how we can come up with this amazing dream and vision for South Africa… but in the meantime, I would love your ideas on your vision and what you wish for South Africa in 2020…. post your comments below.

Another ordinary day in the office for the Fairy Godmother.
My vision for 2020: Electricity and fast internet.
Wow Donna - you never cease to amaze me. It shows we really can have an effect and make the positive side come out for South Africa by doing crazy things.
My tip - See the beauty everyone - it is there - just seek and you shall find.
My vision for 2020 - Peace, serenity, positivity and an uplifting South Africa for ALL.
A country whose people have raised themselves above the emptiness and false promises of power, fortune and ego and have united against our common enemy, human unhappiness. We believe in and uplift our fellow South Africans. Greed, jelousy, anger hate and fear are literally non existent. Instead we exude grace, community, love and happiness, we are a beacon of hope for the planet, we have become what is possible and an example for other countries to follow and benefit from.
Our collective inspiration, Donna, that is what your FGM life and your spirit are clearly, for so many. I am so proud of your courage, brave heart, bold action and creative effectiveness. Wow personified!
My vision for 2020?
George Golding as Minister of Grace, Happiness and Love.
)
Shanine as Minister of Potential & Inner Beauty.
Mark Forrester as Minister of Technology, Biofuels and Energetic Expediency
Our FGM as Minister of Fun, Purpose and Prosperity
Each South African fulfilling their unique Ministerial position based on their personal vision and life purpose (the one Donna has helped them clarify), with portfolios based on their own exquisite determination (through the beautification goglles Shanine has helped design) and within our divine collective community (the one George has helped build
Wow Michelle - What a beautiful Vision - taking all of our individual strengths as South Africans and melding them together into a collective potjie of HUGE potential and POSSIBILITY! Thanks everyone for yor comments…. any more dreams for SA fo 2020?
This is a dream come true, someone coming forward to inpire as many persons as possible to get out of the heavy negativity that has gripped so many and engage in the law of attraction or the law of “if it’s to be, it’s up to me.” My vision - media coverage of all the good that is done in the country by ordinary people and minimal coverage of the bad and unpleasant.
